We have heard rumors again that neuromodulation interest is back. I think it would a tough goat it with all the new stimulation companies that have sprung up. I do think a incontinence system may be the only thing that would make it a fit since mdt is really the only company stim treating it now. Nuvectra could be ripe for purchase since I have heard their sacral device is coming out later this year and it is supposed to be the real deal. Anyone hearing the same rumors?
Stryker has been telling their salesforce a neuromodulation acqusition has been imminent for over a decade. If and when they look behind Nuvectra’s curtain and discover the % of revenue coming from paid MDs and investors, they will close the curtain and walk away, or wait. Stryker lies to their reps, but the M&A team isn’t stupid.
