Did Conmed really hire CH’s son and make him a rep in CO??? You’d think, if he wanted to get into med device sales, he could go work about anywhere his dad wanted him to. But instead, he does the weakest thing in the world and hires him onto his own team. Weak weak weak sauce.

The perfect way to start in my opinion. Many people who are leaders in their industry started at the ground level and worked their way up.

 

I am, in NO way knocking starting from the bottom. I too was at the lowest on the totem pole. But, are you honestly saying he’s gonna deal with the same slings and arrows as any other rep? Please. I think he should have spread his wings and fly with some startup or something other than where his dad is CEO and chairman. I don’t never let my kid do that.

 

The Colorado territory is a dog always has been. But that is a big drop! Unfortunately, everyone knows how this will play out.

How much experience do you need to give stuff away? Colorado is very strong for all device companies other than Conmed Linvatec.

That makes sense. Distributors have mostly been able to last on low price and future promises. If you promise steadman... for years and need something to hang on to... why not hire the ceo’s Kid, keep the gravy train running, good for Dave!
