Joining Alcon in Fort Worth

I have accepted a position with Alcon in Forth Worth and will be relocating from Florida. I recently graduated from college and I am looking for suggestions on where I can live affordably and have a reasonable commute

Burleson tends to have lower home prices and is close to campus.

 

I probably will be focusing on apartments and possibly corporate or furnished apartments till I get a feel for the area

 

East Rosedale.

 

Polytechnic or Stop 6?

 

If you’re looking for a community where you can walk to restaurants, shopping, bars, Church etc suggest W 7th Street area. My son relocated in the fall and FW can be quite boring in the outskirts of suburbia. It’s not Dallas which is an hour away w the traffic. Lots of affordable apartment and condo choices on W 7th for young professionals.
