If you think your Amgen partner respects you, think differently. The partnership for the most part is not going well. 2 totally different philosophies. Gilenya is such a crap drug and few write it. Novartis has such an arrogance to them. They are perceived poorly by neuros.

Amgen has no presence in Neurology and in my city the tool manager hired 2 reps with no Neuro or Migraine experience on top of his zero experience in Neurology or Migraine. But still these arrogant new Amgen Neurology reps are acting like they are experts in Neurology and Migraine. Manager even said relationships and experience are "over rated" and not a huge part in a successful launch. Guess that explains Amgen's stellar track record in regards to latest product launches.:(:(:(:(:(

Because it’s an amgen product it will sell? What the fuck? This isn’t like an apple iPhone.

Relationships are often over rated. Sometimes the hardest dr.'s to sell to are those that are your friend. Think about that you idiot.

Amgen will do well in Neurology. No ill preconceived notions about them as there is with Novartis reps. Novartis reps are lazy.

Yes, because it's an Amgen product and first in class and novel it will sell

you need to work for tool in St. Louis, you both drink from the Amgen kool-aid well. Talk about lazy reps, the most work you do during the day is speed dialing Panera for the lunch you have to have every day to see anyone. Amgen's arrogance will cause them to price Aimovig ridiculously high because they are first to market, competition will come in lower and get the business. remember relationships are over rated when compared to stellar Amgen Neuro reps/managers:eek::eek::eek:

only Amgen reps would talk down about their Neuro counterparts from Novartis, great to see the synergy and teamwork, can't wait to see what happens when Aimovig is launched. Teva migraine drug not delayed yet, they are in talks with FDA regarding data. Amgen's recent launch history is not good but they will price it at a premium and try to justify it by saying it is first in-class. Only works when you have no competitors in sight, could be 3 more CGRP's by end of 2018. We will see who has the best reps, I am not betting on Amgen.

You are a smart and insightful man. You must not work at Amgen since they only hire kool aid drinkers

Look, Novartis is being told 80% of your time is dedicated to Gilenya. It may appear your Gilenya rep is lazy but perhaps he/she is doing exactly what they should be doing....

Seriously, how much DSE you gonna do for 20% payout that is guaranteed anyway.

this is exactly why this partnership is a total joke. Two different philosophies. it's not a cohesive unit at all

RA & NC ? Eli Lilly? Annie just left Amgen, did she also go over there? Wondering what triggered this and the timing is concerning.

What is going on with the Indiana/Kentucky team? That manager has issues. those reps do not shut up. they are promoting migraine. what's the deal?

Fact is Amgen is far from competitive comp and those in this thread are being sought after. You will see none of them at the launch meeting.

Lilly isn’t the greatest company but it’s no worse than Amgen. At least there pipeline isn’t so bare.
