With Medtronic most recent IPG it’s now basically anything a customer would want except a liter Boston Scientific customer who wants the MICC

Culture wise- Go straight to Medtronic. Boston doesn’t have a good culture at all in their SCS division.

    I’ve worked for both companies

Every FCR in our geography has moved to Medtronic within 3-4 years.... That's not an accident. Terrible culture

Why would anyone want to do that? Other than that maybe they hate themselves?

Go to Nuvectra. Hiring everywhere and have rubber band leads that stretch to the moon and back. Best IPG in the market and the leadership team is more experienced in neuromodulation. Best in class MRI

both are good paying, bad jobs.

    dumb vs. dumber.

why people live for a corporate job is beyond me. I did it when I was younger (my best years), and for what? it wasn't worth it.

best to work independently, and enjoy life more than work for a corporation that doesn't give a shit about you, at the end of the day.

Better apply soon! It wouldn't be long until there aren't any more openings (due to bankruptcy)

there’s no application process. you get an unsolicited call from their recruiter, you negotiate pay and a start date and then you’re in. after trying a while (mostly dealing with existing patients whose charging doesn’t work) you realize no one wants their product and then either you bail or they can you for not making plan.

negotiate a 5-year guarantee and then pursue wages in bankruptcy court
