Has anyone gone through the Oncology Manager hiring events yet? Feedback? I heard they are very quick. Only 45 minutes with 2-3 rounds of people to meet with. Are they really going to do just 1 day of interviews and then decide who to hire? Is this standard operating procedure?
Well that was a total waste of time. I dont see how this is a good system to decide people to lead an Oncology team.
The whole process was a waste of time. Being rushed for two 45 minute interviews is a joke. Nobody is getting offers right during the interviews anyway. Even if they do offer I am not taking it. I have heard this process has caused a lot of bad hires yet they still do it. I don't want a company that clearly makes hiring blunders and doesn't change their system. The definition of insanity.
If this is how they hire managers then imagine what kind of chaos it will be working there....who is running the ship?
I agree 100%. Eisai sucks. Leadership sucks. Management sucks. The old dated products suck. The lack of investment in research and a pipeline sucks. I was never more bored with a company. If you are unemployed take their 145k a year salary in oncology. Otherwise run and accept an offer from another professional organization.
had a 45 minute first interview, the man touched me twice-once on the leg and once on my neck-then i woke up naked in his hotel room
wouldn't be the first sexual harassment lawsuit against the company..but you should at least wait to a person is on payroll before groping them. was it MC?
well, if it is the case you have a new oncology director who came from Teva, and he is calling the shots, that may explain it. That would be where he learned it. recommend as always, as with any job, do due diligence in knowing who you work for, and what they are all about, etc. Good luck.
You don't hire talented people using this system. It isn't enough time to make a solid decision on whom to hire. They get what they deserve.
