Prometheus Labs is one company that does not care about compliance. In fact, they reward it.

Not just a story. It's a fact. I would advise the FDA and the industry to keep an eye on this company.

Am quite glad to let physicians I have known for 15 years that when I was with Prometheus, my manager encouraged me to deceive them, to change wording on the official indication, etc. I am encouraging them to never do business with Prometheus again.

Not to worry. Just a matter of time before a massive fine is laid on them.

This is a matter for the Board of Directors to consider.

    UCB is a total joke.

UCB has already had one 5 year sanction by the FDA for off label selling.

UCB manager still texting on personal cell phones and using an app to leave no trace of the texts.
    Clearly non compliant.

All UCB ever does is cover up the off label selling. Classic UCB.

Same at Janssen, compliance = costs

The trend for the latest 10 a 15 years is to be less compliant, but to look more compliant. The top management have the internal/external auditors in their pocket, and they all play the same game. Good professionals tend to leave the business, and the bad ones stay behind.
The regulating agencies "should/could" be part of the solution but for now they are part of the known but unspoken problem.

Sadly true. Whenever I meet someone bragging how they are c-suite or director of xyz in pharma, I wonder if they realize how many human lives they have “touched” (screwed over). And they think they are so amazing and successful in the backs of patients and the healthcare system fitting the bill for inflated costs of me-too drugs. Disgusting. I walk away.

Yes!!! So true. Compliance is a JOKE. I know people who reported compliance and the company goes after THEM for reporting it. They are labeled as a trouble maker for caring about doing the right thing. We aren’t selling cars. These are drugs that can help or HURT people. Compliance should be taken seriously but it’s not because the Pharma companies just want to make as much money as possible.
