Reporting False Calls

What is the best and easiest way to alert compliance at various drug companies about fabricated sales calls reported by pharmaceutical salespeople to no-see providers?

 

That's clearly unethical, and cheating the company they work for, but is it considered "non-compliant" against the FDA? I don't think so ...

 

The FDA could care less....
As far as the company.. They know that half of these MD's are no-see's.. ridiculous the weight put on calls..

Before you rat out a rep for recording fake calls on you (hopefully they are detail only and not falsifying your signature, that's another story) consider why the rep is doing this. They may be put in a difficult situation ex. The company determines the targets and requires a 100% reach. Or are there a ton of no sees in this area & specialty? This could create a problem as well, the rep can't say that all the docs are no see, the company wouldn't need them anymore. Most of us need a job to pay for a mortgage, diapers, food, childcare, eldercare, school loans, saving for 529, 401k, healthcare.
Consider instead making a way to see reps (2 a day?), did one rep completely anger you? Maybe ban that rep only? We really aren't that horrible most of us just want to get in and get out and home to our kids.

I will start. Randy a BI rep in Wisconsin does nothing but fish all day. 98% of his calls recorded never happened. He is actually out fishing today on Mille lacs in Minnesota. Go get him fda!!!

 

There's not enough time or manpower to report fabricated calls, a supercomputer with Superman driving it couldn't keep up. Count every single rep for every single company, multiply by their call average, subtract 1 or 2 and report the rest.

 

Janssen JNJ management demand their reps lie all day all week long.

 

This ,could be another rep, not a doctor. The response from pharmamom made me cringe.
She is expecting that doctors open their doors and precious time to allow reps so shr can feed her family and pay her mortgage, bills is repulsive. How about getting a more respectable, honest job and not having more kids than that you can afford that way, and living in a modest home or apartment? How entitled. wow.

 

100%. PharmaMom, do you realize that patients trying to afford their healthcare and meds ALSO have all those expenses and that your princess toad job causes the cost of healthcare to INFLATE for all? Generic drugs are fine. And for the truly novel drugs, we have clinical trials.gov to read. We don’t need reps unless a doc wants free lunches for staff. How dignified. That’s sarcasm, honey. Instead of asking an ethical provider to see a couple reps, HOW ABOUT YOU get a more respectable job to feed all your children and downsize the home?? Your entitled post at the expense of cost of healthcare was really out of touch IMO.

Amen. Maybe they should stop shutting reps out wholesale & set up a specific time they can visit.

 

Can’t believe I’m getting paid $150k a year and benefits plus a car and meetings all around the country to work maybe 2-3 hours a week!!!! Only have to put on a fake show with my manager 3-4 times a year!!
Why would anybody complain! I have several side gigs and make another $75K a year recording fake calls!
Who cares take the money and run!
