Beth Jenkins, passionate visionary? That's laughable. Good riddance. Part of the gang of Paul's favorites who has held the company back, not propel the company.

 

If you ever worked for Beth, you would find this as baseless and insulting as I do. She is a model leader with a huge heart and equally sharp intellect who set objectives clearly, communicated constantly, and worked hard to develop each individual. She also handled many cross-IT initiatives to enable us to succeed when in the moment they were not appreciated for the future value they would bring. If you never had the opportunity to fully appreciate her as a human and a professional, then you have missed out on one of the greats.

 

Agree with the above poster, Beth has brought tremendous value to BMS over her career. Sure, she might be one of Paul’s favorites because she always delivers and brings people along with her.

 

I have had the opportunity to work with her, many, many time. I agree with the original post. What an uninspiring and unimpressive leader. Doesn't understand anything technical. Never really did anything innovative. Never really made anything simpler. Totally screwed up GPDV. Couldn't say what the value was or why we needed it. So she dumped the mess on Brenda to sort it out. She just does what she is told, poorly. Has little idea about the enabling functions she purports to be responsible for. The centralized IT budget processes are a disaster. If you think she's one of the best, you need to get out of the BMS cave and see what great leaders are really like. Peter Ringrose used to say that talent attracts talent. She's the negative example. Lack of talent attracts lack of talent.

 

Haters gonna hate. You should either lead, follow, or get out of the way.

 

Wow. What makes you think he's not? So far, her absence has changed a thing. Zippo. She musta been real important. (Sarcasm)
