There's much more on him than just the truck

All that you ever talk about is the truck.

Wrong. Check out previous threads on CP and you'll see. And you're either an outsider or the ogre himself.

I was thinking the same thing myself. He's the asshole with the pickup truck.

It's weird. While saying that you post all sorts of other things besides the pick-up truck, you once again mention the pick-up truck. I would encourage you to visit cars.com and find a truck with the featurs you'd like within your price range.

    Wouldn't I just go to trucks.com then?

Deflecting. Again. Note that the above person said it is NOT about the truck. There is more than one of us from Rochester on here.
We are all in the same boat. We do not have leadership. Any voyage needs a captain. We are sinking.

The atmosphere is one of threats, tyranny management and no trust. We have to kiss up since we all know what happens to reps that don't. She continuously breeches HR guidelines and confidentiality by sharing information (come on who hasn't heard her "gossip" during your ride with?) about teammates. Salary, PIP status, marriages etc. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE TRUCK.
What are we to do? Go to HR? Career ending. Quit? NNI is a great company, with life savings drugs, high salary and solid benefits. There are fewer and fewer options.

And yeah, the big guy is a jerk. He's the least of our worries.

You sure this is about New York and not Kentucky?

You should go to HR, but you've made it clear that you're too busy kissing ass to stand up for yourself. You've already made the decision. Now, just quit complaining about it.

Start recording her and put it on youtube, problem solved.

Didn't they say it wasn't about the truck while complaining about the truck? And, if you want to go back and count the number of times that the truck has been mentioned versus the number of times it hasn't, I think one thing will become clear: it's about the truck.

Just go buy one. Really. You can find plenty of affordable trucks out there. I agree that they are extremely handy to have around for moving furniture or carrying things to the dump. I really don't believe a truck is as far out of your price range as you think it might be. Keep working hard, and you'll get that truck someday!

And regarding your complaints about your manager. As is typical on here, you went with the non-specific route with words like "threats" and "tyranny" - those words mean nothing without actual evidence of something occurring. And, which HR guidelines did she break? Which one covers gossiping? It sounds like you have nothing except a dislike for your boss, which puts you right alongside about 98% of American workers. If you're wondering why she hasn't gotten fired yet, it's because you apparently have nothing on her besides disliking her....and you kiss a lot of ass. Now, tell me again, whose fault is this situation?

I disagree with the 98% of American workers disliking their managers. I’ve been in pharma for 18 years and I’ve only had a disdain for my manager here at Novo. I’ve been here 4 years and she is the textbook definition of a bully. No managerial skills whatsoever. It’s time for the ELT to take responsibility for the horrible managers we have here at Novo.

What is interesting to me is that the HR departments in OTHER companies know how bad it is here. This came up in several interviews when I left. I didn't even have to bring it up. They clearly knew.

So, what you're saying is that during initial screening interviews, HR executives from another company began bad-mouthing Novo Nordisk HR executives? One of 2 things is true here: 1) that never happened or 2) the HR department you're going to has WAAAAYYYYY more problems than the one you left if they bad-mouth your previous employer during a screening interview.

You want specifics? Well, I tried, but the forum editor bumped my first response...
So, let's just say, that she entered into (and tried to drag me into) inappropriate, sexually-related conversations regarding her family! I had tried to post more detailed information, but the first copy never made it to the board.

It's because they have heard it from more than a few people, and they are fishing for more details.

Truck? Who really cares. When the last time he made the leaderboard. Oh yes before his promotion to executive. He's old news. Boring. He's an easy target because he's has high base and a specialty vehical and thinks he's a dm. But its boring. He is not relevant anymore. His relevance was due to his performance years ago (hr?) But he has slipped into the shadows . on purpose I'm sure .bye bye

Well said. Its not about this individual or his mode of transportation.
Root cause is manager. She has fostered an environment of mistrust, fear and toxicity.
Previous post said to do something about it and stop whining. We do not want to loose our jobs. Yes, we have to kiss up as a teammate described and pretend we "are on her side" . Pretend she is a good leader. Pretend we work FOR her.
Would an anonymous letter to HR do any good? There are several of us that have documented her inappropriate discussions and the blatant OIG violations by said mentioned individual.
