Not that I believe the numbers, but I've heard 500 between CR and GBR in Morgantown. It's my understanding there has already been some restructuring to manufacturing/union positions.
a lot of dead weight in management in manufacturing. I seen employees on the off shifts sleep almost the whole shift, also watch multiple movies a night on the internet. And don’t even begin with the antics of the weekend shifts
So, Mylan Tech laid off 35-40 staff last week from their St Albans and Swanton facilities and demoted many remaining staff. Why has there been NOTHING about it on the internet or local news??
Absolutely true...when I word there that's exactly what I saw, esp on 3rd and the weekend. Its not the fault of the mfg staff...its executive management that can't plan their way out of wet paper bag. Time for their so called "leadership" to be removed....
I'm assuming none of those were voluntary. Unfortunately, I doubt the voluntary severance won't be offered again in the future. There are many of us that would be willing to take it if it were offered again.
It took them 2 weeks to even report it in Vermont...amazing...either all the news agencies are asleep at the wheel or no one cares anymore: https://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/2018/03/02/mylan-eliminates-jobs-st-albans/390469002/
