I’ve been doing a lot of research on Intuitive Surfical and it appears they are “cleaning house” my region has several positions open...I have read that it’s a high pressures position and salary is based on # of surgies Rep is doing...I have also been told by a friend who works with IS that company morale is on the mend and CSR make $250,000...I would think this depends heavily on the territory?? Comments/Advice
Robotic surgery has been exposed for what it is, just another gimmick. Read their forum here and do some reading in various journals re: the topic. Robotic surgery are no better than the surgeon. It’s good in some, bad in others, and many lawsuits are being filed by patients. They wouldn’t be cleaning house unless “sales” were down. Either way, you’ll be paid well until you start making too much and aren’t needed or wanted any longer. It’s pump and dump in these types of jobs. Great for experience and your resume, not great for a career. make your money, save it, and move on when things start to go south.
