Currently interviewing with Fidia and looking for the insider scoop. Seems like a good opportunity. Would love some insight.

    Only if you’re unemployed.

The HA category is a commodity class with no differentiating clinical data. Fidia is overindexed in the pain management space when the market is driven by orthopedists. Leadership is a revolving door, and so is the sales force. Hyalgan is a 5 injection product when the category has transitioned to single injections. Hymovis is unexplainable as a 2 injection product.

Ask what makes Fidia unique in the market?
Ask how many reps earned the target payout last year?
Ask how many DMs were internal promotions?
Ask what the turnover rate has been for the last 12 months...or 5 years?
Ask what non-HA products they have in US clinical trials?
Ask why the last 3 reps left? Do they know? Do they care?
Ask how many employees were referred by another employee?
Ask how often you get sales reports? Can they show them to you now?

...I could go on and on...but the only answer that matters is whether or not you have a better option.

the biggest challenge is cost of the product and lack of coverage. if you are desperate for a job well i guess take but if not maybe consider your options. other is lack of a marketing plan. marketing department is weak and the leadership from the director down to district managers are weak. probably explains why sales are weak. the turnover is high from key positions. one of the territories went through 5 dm's and a hr director as well as a regional director. the clinical data on the pi is weak. didn't fair well against saline. all the ha's are safe but this company is sinking and will do whatever it can to ensure you don't get paid. doesn't seem like it will last long in the us market.

Leadership won’t answer any of your questions and if they do it won’t be truthful.

Let me guess, they are claiming they have new products in the pipeline right?!? Maybe even a mention of a new/actual device? Or the possibility of getting into the obgyn market? HAHAHA

We are not getting paid for Q1 sales and have yet to receive our Q1 goals as we are heading into Q2. Did you get the job? Be prepared to live off your base. What territory? Leadership minus the northern california DM, Texas DM and New Orleans DM lack understanding of the HA class and how to sell. It is a struggle here. We are struggling for leadership and direction. I know the southern california representative is always complaining about not making money.
