Ya, this place looks like Allergan 2.0 and I'm guessing it will be bought out in the first year. But hey at least I'm out of Allergan

Many AGN people have taken leadership roles for the sales group. These were people laid off for various reasons over the last 12 months. Some of these people claim to have launch experience yet look 20, 21 years old. LOL. Aerie is bound to fail with these people that they desperately hired. What the hell were they thinking?

I worked at Allergan with one of the girls hired here; she had over 10 years Eyecare experience, and used the same canned, myopic presentation with all her docs; in fact some of the docs would joke with me how they would ask her a question about a product other than the one she was "detailing" (although it was one she still sold) just to watch her become a "deer in headlights"..Absolutely horrible at her job, but she is cute, Blonde, and bubbly, so I guess that is all that matters..

The company will fail because the drug is terrible. Over 50% hyperemia. I feel bad for the people who work here because most just took this job because they had to.

They did? I know several tenured reps who resigned their positions to go there and they definitely didn't do it out of need. Docs are using all their samples and mine just sit in the fridge. I wish I was there.

Docs using all their samples?... Awesome! How much commission do the reps get for high sample usage? I'm betting not much... These jobs won't last very long unless the docs actually start RXing the drug, and the patients actually pay for it (Ahh, that's going to be a problem when Roc inhibitors aren't much better than cheap generic latanoprost)..

Yeah, I remember tenured reps leaving Allergan to go still Xiidra... That didn't work out too well, either.

Here's a fella who's been in the biz a long time and didn't work for Aller Can't. So, boo hoo hoo. You didn't get your foot in the door here - is that why you're tearing this place down?

Got a better place to be in pharma field sales?

    I'll list some places:

    Oncology

    Orphan/Rare diseases

    biologics, etc.

So, what have you sold? An eye drop?

    I'm lik'n it here.

    Done it all.

And at the end of the day, it's all the same.

    Aerie is good.

you are a malcontent or a troll

Bye Bye to your nonsense talk.

    Move along now.

Folks have to do their job for better or for worse.

Must say. Access with OPH's is a hellavu lot better than say: Oncs or Rheums.

Have you called on those folks?

Give it a try, and see how you do.

Later eye drop reps who think they know pharma.

Blah, blah, blah. Yak, yak, yak.

Nothing you say means anything if you don't work here - outsider/try/miscreant/malcontent.

    :)

Pretty toxic comments for a brand new company and product.

What do you expect from Cafe Pharma - a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?
Go look at any company's site and find all the reps jumping up and down screaming "happy, happy, joy, joy!"

Asking the basics... honest truth, not troll-responses.

    Company Culture for reps?
    Avg Base?
    Avg Comission?
    Car allowance or fleet?
    Decent Stability or reorgs/layoffs 1-2x a year?
    Pipeline?

Now that Roclatan is out don’t look for anything new for a while, if ever.
