I'm interviewing for a position selling Austedo. What are your thoughts on this division and product.

LMAO! HOLY SH!T THAT'S HILARIOUS. Don't listen to this troll. You'll be lucky to break 100k with base and commission. Good luck.

    No wonder Teva is bankrupt...

100% a lie. NO reps make that kind of cash. I know reps who have been around for 20+ years and don't get near clearing that. Good luck

You would seriously consider coming here? LMAO..do you have any idea what is about to happen to the entire branded side of the company? We have zero portfolio and the new stuff will be considered me too drugs if they ever make it to market.

I’m with TR and been here 18yrs so yes it is what I make. When you exceed on your annual reviews 11 of those years and receive 4 to 6% raise and adjustments it will happen and did with me. President club 6 of those years

Still 100% a lieI TR is primary care! 18 years ago you're base was probably $45-55k so maybe now you're getting close to $80-90k at best. Most TR reps who come over to Neuro get a bump in base! IC plan for respiratory is weak (especially the last 3 years). TR reps are worse than the Cephalon reps that we pay for!

Yep, these guys are full of it. No way a company hard up like Teva is would keep around reps making 145 base. Total BS. Reps aren't worth that kind of cash total, let alone base.

145K cash total? I haven’t made less than $150K with Teva the past 10 years.

Which means you are WAY over paid. We all know reps really have no effect on sales anymore. Sales is being phased out anyway. Mark my words, in 10 years pharmaceutical sales will be a discontinued role

Man are you screwed, unless you are ready to retire. Teva is likely to terminate the majority of you, and other companies want to be paying their reps ~100 k.

People always push to “make more,” but it is not good to end up at the extreme end of the pay scale for your position. That’s one of many reasons older employees have trouble getting jobs. Why pay so much, when a recent college grade can do the same job, looks better, has fewer family responsibilities, and costs far less.

Screwed - not really. Run with this as long as it goes. Then interview and tell them my base is in the range they are looking for. They get a seasoned and well accomplish rep for a great price while I just keep working and making money.

This goes to show just how clueless you really are. Pharmaceutical sales is being phased out. You are literally in a position that is dying in front of your eyes and you are too thick to see it. Start paying attention and asking questions and I think you'll start seeing that it's coming hard and fast.

Problem is what other job can a sales rep get with only a 2-4 year degree that pays 6 figures?

Roll the dice starting your own business? It’s either that or Walmart I guess.

The smart thing to do with those 6 figures is to invest in education and skills that will allow you to move to a position that isn't so unstable and niche. The salary and benefits are opportunities to ensure your future.

I’m not sure sales reps have a deep thirst for learning...
