Just saw on Linkedin that PP is looking to hire a marketing person for oncology. What a laugh. What fool in their right mind would join PP to work on dog agents that won't get approved for years. We need something to sell now. The company willl be long dead and gone before anything worthwhile in oncology comes out. Can't wait to see what poor soul accepts this job. Will have to be desperate.

This shows the companies dedication to moving into oncology. This is a damn good thing. Don’t be so sour.

Insys is an "oncology" company too. Don't let that term excite anyone. Purdue emergence into "oncology" is by name only and to sound important

Let’s see I have a hot biotech drug in phase 3 and need a marketing company.... PP would not be on my list.

I doubt you have a hot biotech drug so your opinion is pretty moot isn’t it?

LOL! Purdue thinks it is going to compete with Novartis, Genentech, Amgen, Merck and Pfizer in oncology? Someone at HQ is smoking Oxy.

I hate say it but I agree. Even the company name "Purdue" won't be long for this world. It is too associated as a cause of the opioid epidemic and is now forever tainted. After class action settlement litigation, my guess is that company will be shuttered and any assets left auctioned off. I give it another 12-18 months tops.

What will happen to our pensions, those of us that were there long ago and left when Oxy got out of hand.
