CBDs are with TBS in the regions near me. So what! That means nothing. They have to be in the field so many days a year.

Exactly - all of these pointless positions mean NOTHING
When will upper mgt see the crap uselessness any of these positions hold
Have field manager and Hr to fire everyone
This company is a total joke
Bunch of washed up idiots trying to justify their job

I would like to apply for the HSBS position in NJ. I have questions why they cant keep anyone in that job long, and many others in the Philly region do not last long. Many reps were with BI long time then HSBS causes resignation. DM is good, what is the reason? Looking for advice because I would like to advance my career with account experience.

Maybe the previous folks were not cut out to be a HSBS
    Our praise typically goes unsung
Despite the keys which we hold. Protocol placement and account knowledge is our specialty. We know everyone in an account from Maintenance techs in the Cath lab to the C Suite Stable.
We work feverishly regardless of the day of the week. That health fair on Saturday that you heard about? All possible because of my support
It takes a special person with tenacity, willpower, and unending drive for this position.
Now ask yourself- “Are you cut out for this position “
We truly are the few, the proud, the HSBS

Because this position is career advancement in name only. It is not the traditional hospital rep because we do not have acute care products and most hospitals today do not put chronic use medications on formulary. So, it is a health system focused job that still has responsibility for $$$$ growth which means the focus is prescribing providers associated with the health system. Only problem with that is the TBS is already calling on those HCPs so the HSBS becomes the second wheel! C suit, D suit, catch lab, respiratory therapy, Pharmacy, ED, if you are lucky maybe one or two call points a year. Otherwise your day is filled with chasing the same HCPs as the TBS! Don't do it!

We will be busy launching the new RESPIMAT hospital device for the next few months. After that, we will be back to the BS mentioned above. I agree, do not apply for that job if you already have a job you like. You will like this job less.

Oh, but the status that goes with HSBS! Can you imagine the rush of getting into C Suites; pandering to Marge in the cath lab; schlepping donuts to navigators; burying RTs in placebo Respimats; mailing samples so as to block out your TBSs at PC offices.? Oh, and tailgating your TBSs to lunches and echoing their every word. What a Gig!

Very high number of emails coming in with action items. Does anyone else feel like panic is setting in or is it because HSBS/KAMs have so many products? I feel like the whip is snapping at my ass all day in this dumb job. More time is spent checking boxes and destroying things than anything else. Brand teams and leadership seem to be grasping at anything and everything (are we that desperate?). They are very out of touch with real world. They only go by "market research" and milk run ride-alongs to stay connected. Time to get resume up to date. BI is a circus in a clown car.

The time to update your resume was two years ago. By staying at BI your stock has gone down.

Reach, frequency and feature-benefit messaging, followed by VAE will amount to 90% falsification of calls or being kicked out. Yes, we are desperate to think this model works. Why doesn't anyone in BI leadership understand this?

BI figures it out when it is too late. They are always late to the table. Too busy sticking their heads up each others butts and debating tomatoes vs tomatos.
