What kind of drug testing (blood, urine, hair)?

no drug testing. Seriously. In WA we are high all the time. Only way to deal with this place

 

Thank you to the users who posted useful and serious replies. Pot smoking has very little effect on job performance when used responsibly, and it is getting really tiresome reading the stupid and irritating posts that pass judgement without facts. I can't believe a major company would hire those idiots!

Surprising that Regeneron does not drug test. The website refers to passing a physical which I presumed meant drug screening. Does anyone know what the physical entails?

There is no physical or drug test. The physical might be for manufacturing or distribution jobs but not for the commercial division.

Regeneron does not drug test. This is a fact. Another fact, they don't drug test because then the Leadership team (Len, GDY, etc...) would be fired. (That came from someone in HR).

Most companies have an official policy that they can randomly test any employee at any time, but that it is not mandatory to do so. Some jobs have mandatory testing, but most do not. Virtually all companies that do test use a third-party network of labs and the employee has to appear for their test within a certain time period after being notified (usually same or by noon next day). Tests are almost always urine.

Chemistry analyzers are extremely sensitive (parts per quadrillion) and will find traces of metabolites several weeks after the last use. If you have used within a week or two, you will throw a positive unless you cheat the test. You can get away with that at most private labs as they do not watch you produce the sample.

 

giveback the older responses on this thread, surprisingly it seems Regeneron does not drug test, and only performs a background check. I doubt their policy has changed much in the past 2 years, so probably unlikely they have went from not drug testing company wide , to drug testing company wide.

 

What about driving record? How many moving violations and how many years do they go back?

 

They pull the standard 3 year look back on DMV. Was told that 3 moving violations during that time period or over 6 points will flag the application.

stool sample and a retinal scan, then swab your mouth with the stoll sample swab so really unpleasant you must really need the work
