discussions regarding a merger then split and spin out of non core assets.

Bob B gets $$$ and leaves the combined company with a young CEO (Novartis)

Nohaile and his wife were both at McKinsey and both joined Novartis. The Novartis CEO is ex-McKinsey so their history goes back a long ways.

Amgen and Novartis merger would make sense.

Makes more sense than acquiring Celgene.

Full rights to CGRP for Novartis, pairing Repatha with Entresto, Consentyx with Enbrel, oncology combined, divest Neph and non overlapping assets of Novartis and Amgen to a new entity.

Nohaile wife would be looking for a second promotion to be a SVP in the new org.

This ain’t gonna happen. I used to work at Burger King and my buddy is now at McDonald’s. Don’t think they are merging anytime soon.

More future partnerships = likely. A merger = not likely

Amgen needs TOPLINE REVENUE NOW? PARTNERSHIPS AIN'T GONNA CUT IT.

Then buy Celgene now before it’s too late. Imid therapies very profitable and future pipeline already ripening. Price is right and affordable for Amgen.

They exist in the black hole of analysis paralysis.

There will be no concensus at Amgen because no one has balls there. They know one more M&A fuck up means they are fired.
