We all know this place is toxic and the posts here are proof. Pharma is Pharma an old broken model that has gone by the way of the dinosaur. The only difference is the culture of the company and the company you keep. That starts at the very top.

Fat paycheck. Fat bonus. Fat 401k. Consultants do all the work. Why would anyone leave?

Exactly correct. Strategy: Do nothing! At work, do your bills, shop online, chat with friends, eat their free food at their fcuked up meetings, "work" from home. Stay till they kick you out and collect their nice severance package. They are pretty frickin stupid...they screw over their workforce and they think we remain loyal. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

WTF is happening to the IT organization? I thought it was getting a bit of stability last year then you announce a merger of two diagrammatically opposite organizations Enabling and RDI. Which Pharma company in the world would do that? Isn't one of AZ's key values science? And you loose the focus out of science? Just for a leadership change at the ITLT level you combine 2 organizations? You ignore science folks and play politics to have everyone from enabling getting into the new leadership!
The funny thing is PMO and S&P/Quality was one team in 2016, they split into 2 different teams in 2017 and now merge it back in 2018. What fun! Divorce and remarry again. Which means Smoley's strategy is not working. He thinks just a change in his leadership does not mean harrowing times for 100's of the staff below, countless hours of discussions wasted in trying to merge two teams, job losses and anxiety in people as to what's going to happen to them.
    Mr. Smoley, are you listening?

Hey guys, How are things in AZ IT now? I left about 18 months when my job went to whatever country and I picked up the check. Is CD still there? (Cali Dave's right hand doormat)

It would appear that Smoley did not find RDI to be a valuable organization, so he got rid of their VP and merged any remaining survivors.

Is Dave Smoley quitting? Heard the ITLT is in a mess.
