You mean travel across four states to sell your dumpster fire of a drug, Cycloset? For an apparent egomaniacal JC Penney underwear manager? Yeah...that’s a hard no. A top decile endocrinologist in the area said to run—not walk—away from that mess. That makes one a “pussy snowflake”? Try not stupid and not desperate.

Who cares what kind of gig it is??? Contract rep or Salix employee is besides the point, friend,— the crux of it is who wants to sign up to live their life driving all over the southeast, spending most nights on the road in shitty hotels, selling a drug hated by doctors and patients alike (forget about getting a bonus), while being micromanaged/harassed by some idiot who is universally despised? No one.

What about the southwest? Your AZ rep? She's a real piece of work.

Some people, you just can't comprehend and frankly, don't want to. She's beyond words. Way way scary.

This was written about MM, TM & MW, DSM allowing it (Orlando) - MM was fired.

Salix (especially under Valeant) loves to hire young sociopaths for management positions, so he's got plenty of company. If you've been around Salix long enough, or know about company history, you may have heard of another notorious manager, from the same region, named Mark Lyon. Mark had a horrible reputation and was responsible for the highest regional turnover. Sociopathic behavior is rewarded in corporate America, and the pharmaceutical industry, and Salix in particular, is no exception. Best to get out - the situation will not improve under the management of a sociopath.

I agree with what you said. However lets be clear. Part of the problem are the reps here who get kicks from throwing dirt on others, behind their backs. How cowardly can you get? At this age and station in life, we should be mature enough take any complaints directly to our coworkers. However worse than that behavior, is the manager who then turns around and treats the person gossiped about, like dirt. Said target gets black balled and they have no idea what happened, let alone their relationship with manager. It's all very sick and juvenal. The rotten one gets their behavior reinforced. They think it's okay to go tattle to their manager, rather than deal with what they consider a problem directly. It's a serious problem here, people's inability to communicate directly, to one another. Very immature and in some cases, career ending.

Bullies come in many forms. One of the worst forms of bullying I've seen here, is when a rep gets away with bad-mouthing a co-worker and their lame manager acts out on that information. I know this rep wxgo likes to manipulate my manager. She is the last person in the world who should be doing sales, given her emotional immaturity and need for excess personal attention. She likes to Trash Talk whatever co-workers she sees is doing better than her. The manager tgen acts out against that person without even checking it out with them. In other words the other person is not given the opportunity to defend themselves. This is beyond nasty and immature. It's certainly is not an example of a how a person at this age in life should treat a co-worker. Cowardly people work here and unprofessional, too.

It's never OK to badger your coworkers for their advice and then when you don't like it, trash em with you mger. You dont like their opinion, then get a back bone and tell them directly. Don't be a manipulative histrionic bitch. Some of you need serious therapy.

Why is it that some women are so pathetically needy, that they turn to other people to figure themselves out? If you need self esteem that bad, go buy it from a therapist or read a damn book. Don't shit on people after you beg them to help you. This is inexcusable after 18 yrs of age. You have serious problems, when you blame other people who have listened to you ad nauseum, complain about everything under the sun. It's not loyalty to your manager, to turn round and pit coworkers & mger against each other for your self gain. It hateful selfish manipulation. Stop it.

Well that about sums up my experience with women, so thank you. I just don't get close to anyone here, nor do I give in to people who clearly are too inexperienced or young or messed up to be doing this job. A bad hire is not anyone's problem but mgmts. Direct little miss insecure back to her mger. After all, she wants to be loyal to him.

Geezus. I'm glad to be a man. How you ladies treat each other is seriously messed up. Screw the mger. There's no such thing as a loyal mger, so don't fall for that. Just be honest with your friends. Damm this shit bothers me, reading about all this back stabbing crap. That's for mentals.

Whoever said sociopaths work here, said it right. Even creepier are the psycho girls who think this is all about dress up and makeup. It's sales girlies, not glamorama. Being pretty isn't a character trait, it's genetics. Being rail thin is an eating disorder you need therapy for. Being smart, doing you job and treating others like you'd like to be treated, now that's character. That takes maturity & time to develop. You can't buy it or puke it up. If you're a histrionic bulimic bitch with claws, please check yourself into a psychiatric facility today.

The Narcissists that are among us. That's who. Scared to death of being shamed and subjugated one more time, they seek to shame & humiliate anyone who, God forbid, sees them being less than perfect. They will not let you have a relationship with your manager, out of sheer jealousy. To your face they will be oh so understanding and empathetic. Literally they could pass as your newest old best friend. Looking behind that sweet smile, is a monster of a person who can't wait to bring you down to how they feel, which is miserable. When you wake up and your world's been destroyed, they'll sit gloating with their secret that you finally feel as shorty as they do. A very sick lot, so steer clear.
