This is a CYA created position. Nurses chasing PA and appeals due to shitty managed care. Contracted out to protect the shady leadership decisions. PSS is a dying organization destroyed by one bad leader after another.
All the good people have resigned with their dignity still intact. I am
Holding out for a nice package when this ship finally sinks ,
why not I get to sit at home making over 6 figs to make phone calls, listen to ridiculous conference calls, and free car/gas (and I sit home) what is there to complain out except being bored.
    Congrats leadership job well done!

what isnt needed is a sales force. PSLs and FRMs just might able to save this BU

I guess except that the HUB model is outdated and not really utilized much anymore. Almost every office utilizes the SP specified by the patient's insurance or an internal hospital based SP- adding an extra set of "hands" in the cookie jar to fax over the PA sheet (which takes them about a week to do) only slows the process. Which is why very few offices send things into anyone's HUB anymore- in any speciality at any company.

If we aren't filling out the PA for the office writing the letter of appeal, following denails through the system and doing the work for the office and finally filling and shipping the script to the patient- then no use for any HUB or its slow services.

How many are actually working with their FRM? If so, what is the value they are bringing?

I work closely with mine. They bring the same value as our HUB and my offices love it!

My FRM is killing it! Bringing much needed education and reimbursement information to my offices. I appreciate having them out there.

Well said by the FRM. Mine is WORTHLESS, WORTHLESS.
The PSLs did a 10 times better job than these nut bags. Novartis will never figure it out. NEVER!

Well said by the PSL. But if the PSL's were so great why did the company get rid of half as soon as the FRM's came on board?

None of them are needed. Complete waste of money by Novartis. Probably upwards of 80-85% of all SP products now go through either a hospital owned SP or random SP's that do all the work and hope that they can fill the script 50% of the time. What is definitely not happening is offices using manufacture HUB's- and not just here- anywhere in this below average industry. So what do we do- we add yet another person to call on the offices that really offer nothing of value.

Right, the sales specialists already offer nothing of value to the offices except well catered breakfasts, lunches and afternoon snacks.
