Bonus Payout question

    Do any former employees know if you need to be working at the time the quarterly bonus is paid? For example, if I give 2 week notice Monday my last day is July 9. Would I be paid me Q2 bonus or do I need to be working on the day it is paid?

    Rule #1. You must be present to win (almost always the first condition.). Some say employed during the period the bonus applies to, but I wouldn’t chance it.

    Rule #2. Never give notice until the bonus is in your account safe and secure. Bonuses are discretionary and can disappear into thin air. Good luck trying to fight for it after you have given your notice.

    Solution:

    Work until the day you start with the new company. Work = putting calls into the system but enjoying the two weeks.

    They will close you out immediately yet pay you for 2 weeks plus vacation. That should make up for the shit ass bonus' they provide here. This place is losing reps, the entire training department has left, and the management still does not realize cross company pods, no equity, a ton of "coaching" from idiot managers, and a bloated support staff is the cause.
