What’s the deal with tracking us constantly. This new tracker system is crazy. When will they learn tracking employees like this isn’t going to make them work harder

Although I agree that it’s about trust, sadly, it’s the insurance companies that offer discount incentives for tracking all company vehicles. Means more to smaller companies. Just know that in device companies, there’s only car allowances, not cars.

Oh but Fidia is a device company..

    LOL

Why all the cars. Gee I fucking wonder.

I’d rather drive my own car with an allowance. This new tracking system is the furthest from motivation. I do my job and do it very well. I don’t need to have my every move tracked in order to determine my performance. Makes me want to update my resume.

Can’t say I blame any of my colleagues who feel this way. Heard it was that miserable short haired woman that greeted us at the POA with a sour puss. Forgot her name, but hope she is short-lived.

This! I couldn’t agree more. This tracking nonsense is such an invasive approach and makes me feel uncomfortable, untrustworthy and not a valued employee. Focus on things that truly matter, like more managed care wins and positive reinforcement with your sales force. When you play big brother to this extent, your talent exits. It’s simple, if the rep isn’t performing, write them up, terminate if you have to but don’t punish EVERYONE bc a few are screw ups.

It isn’t about insurance. I would think with Fidia being the market leader in Europe that they are making money and are not cheap. Are other big pharma companies doing this type of tracking? They are tradking. If they have it for insurance purposes they wouldn’t need a tracker just an annoying beep when we are not wearing a seat belt or going fast. Unfortunately in this company many are not hitting their goals not because they are not working but because hyalgan , hymovis is a weak product clinically and too expensive. Lack of managed care wins, lack of a marketing strategy, lack of sales leadership. It’s not because reps are home. It is a commoditized market and it is down but hymovis should be killing it. It’s not because the Italians screwed up thinking aldomwas the answer than they really screwed up hiring short hair. Get rid of the dm’s and ND as we’ll as Roy and marketing. Clean house. They are the ones failing but the reps take the blame. Hymovis strategynhey let me see an EOB oh it cost blah blah blah and you are reimburse @ WAC plus six% which comes out to blah blah blah...just follow Anthony’s email when he broke down the math on how to sell.

This is a lie. Insurance companies only need to track the car for 30-60 days in order to get discounts. Full time tracking is big brother. Dont believe the BS they feed you.

I have a better idea, why don't we just get rid of you! That way you can go jump in the Pacific Ocean and problem solved! Negative attitudes have no home here :)

your reply made zero sense. It’s cafe pharma. It is a forum that can be positive negative truthful opinionated or trolling. Jump in the Pacific Ocean? Are you a west coast rep? Sounds like you got a little defensive. I prefer the Atlantic because it is close to home. But as far as the new tracking method. I find it to be a little invasive. I’m not a robot. I work hard. Are there times I’m in the home office calling out to my outer markets? Yes. Or I’m in the home office looking over stuff or printing. Yes. I get Josephine wants every one in suits and 8-5. She said that at Aldo’s poa retirement announcement. We are specialty reps. It’s not like some markets will have 100’s of orthopod practices to call on. The place is frustrating. Saad gets a demotion but the National director gets a promotion. Ever since she took over we have lost so many people and quality ones. She is trying to stamp her legacy with a new HR, Anew Marketing Director, a new MSL Director, new MSL for your territory ms. West coast rep. Tracking devices, it is a challenge. Things are not getting any better.

You do have a point. Plus the tool suggesting jumping into the Pacific Ocean is a Moran. I would have suggested the artic. Much more cold.

"Ever since she took over we have lost lots of people"

Fidia has been a revolving door going back at least 5 years.

Seriously look at the history. These problems were not created by Aldo, Jos or anyone else you want to blame. The company sucks. The product sucks. Your managed markets absolutely suck and the people working on that have NO CLUE..

The only way I moved on from Fidia was removing it from my resume. You should too.

I agree with remove the name Fidia from your resume and move on or get another job. But I disagree with you protecting Josephine. If a representative isn’t hitting his ormher number can they play the well the product sucks managed markets suck card? No, they aren’t harrassed and terminated. Josephine is the director. She has her team. She has HR, Marketing, Managed Market Director, the DM’s, and the reps she likes. This is her show. Her strategy. Her direction and we are not growing. I’ve seen many come and go but under her direction ive seen more ran off and leave. It’s the directors lack of experience in a buy and bill market. The company’s strategy is don’t worry about asp because they can control the reimbursement rate. Like you said. The product sucks so how else do you sell it? By selling reimbursement and how much will be made.

Last time I checked Saad got a promotion from AD to med director. What demotion are you talking about. How does Saad show up so much on a rep rumor mill. Saad stop posting on cafepharma and get back to work we get it you are ah-mazing.. Plus everyone knows ms. West coast rep is a snitch for JOs.
