Some are better than the TSV/TMV, some have no business calling themselves “employed” because they do not work. Just depends not the territory. Unfortunately they are not paid enough to fulfill the role that they could master to grow the business nationally. The distribution of them does not make sense and their reporting/compensation structure is equally disheartening.

ATRs were tried a few years ago without much success. Why would it be any different this time?

ATRs are grossly underpaid for what they do. Company hired an outside firm to come in and look at comp plans due to all the turnovers. TMV and TSV positions both got raises, but ATRs did not. It doesn't take a genius to figure out where the next set of turnover will be! Not a good idea to only give raises to 2/3 of your sales force - the other 1/3 is obviously not going to be happy. What? Not even a cost of living raise? Comp plan needs a complete overhaul, commissions are capped and are a joke in comparison to how much revenue a transition brings in for the company. The company always says how important ATRs are - Really??? Then pay them like they are important! ATRs are doing the same thing that TAMs used to do, but for much much less money!!!

Service is underpaid also, but this company has gone downhill so much it’s laughable. These fresh fish "Managers” are useless. I can’t wait to find something else. Should have done this long ago
