I’ve been with GSK for a number of years now and whenever I go on Active Duty Orders, they’ve screwed up my pay. But I should start from the beginning...GSK will make up the difference between what the military pays me and what my GSK salary is. With that being said, they never ask for my Orders, which states the amount the military will pay me, and when I return to work from military duty, they want my Leave & Earnings statement showing what I recieved in pay. They then reconcile it and I don’t hear anything about anymore....except around Christmas when they say, oh sorry but we’ve overpaid you and now you owe us hundreds of $$$. It’s been like this every year. Needless to say I’ve run it up the chain of command and HR and nothing. The many conversations I’ve have with HR revolves around how the hell can a company so large not know how to handle service members and their pay. I’m deploying shortly and I don’t need a bill for thousands of dollars because they don’t understand military Orders and LESs. This is a joke.
