What are severance packages like? Any thoughts of who might buy it? Any chance we'll be retained with new company?

Slim. Being laid off isn’t so bad. Nice severence, plus they will keep you in payroll for a few months to pad your resume and give you time to find a new gig. Start sending your resume out now if you’re worried, but don’t quit and start a new job without that severance package

There is no buyer. Everyone at Allergan says there is but there most definitely is not a buyer. AI will not be sold.

Totally agree- there have been several reps leave for other gigs who had a ton of tenure. I understand being fearful you may lose your job and that other companies are offering better salaries and sign on bonuses, but do the math. Anybody that leaves now who has time in is an absolute moron. So what if we get cut? You take the severance and then go find a job. For successful experienced account reps jobs are plentiful - don't be a fool

You are in some other planet, it can take up to 1 year to find a job. I’m a lucky one, got the FRX severance and it took me 16 months to find a job. Get a Plan B in order, start a new business or start looking. Competition is tuff (many layoffs in this industry) and if you’re lucky enough to get an offer, you can always double dip! Don’t be a fool, this company does not give two sh$ts about you & you’re family.

16 months? Sounds like a you problem...I've been through 4 layoffs over many years: never took longer than 8 weeks to land and start new jobs: pocketed some very lucrative severances as well. No way I'm leaving before this whole thing shakes out.

The job can be rewarding depending on who your manager and RD are. The hospital space is no place for the weak.

Senior management gave up on this franchise years ago after mucking up multiple launches and by hiring poorly.

If you are self motivated and incredibly tenacious and have an acumen for tough science then you'll do just fine.

I am interviewing as well and a little nervous about this Buy? What would be a good salary range for this position. I think I am getting a low range but wanted to make sure.

Don't take the job unless they tell you who the buyer is!
