Anyone else notice that there are only about 20 sales openings across the county? There were over 120 less than 6 months ago. Thinking they are preparing for a reorg/layoffs.

Layoff have been and will be a fact in the pharmaceutical industry for quite sometime. Anyone who has worked in the field for AZ or another big pharma company knows most sales forces can be reduced by 50% or more without missing a dollar in sales. Senior management knows this and there are a number of reasons why they haven't "pulled the trigger" on sales. That is a discussion for another thread. Yes a hiring freeze does exist here at AZ. Does it mean layoffs? Who knows? The fact is layoffs can occur anytime.

Yeah right. Those are jobs that go to external not internal hires.

We have an open position in my district . We are not hiring for it and it is the #1 territory . The explanation- money . It’s always about money . We can’t have district meetings bc it’s too expensive . Blah blah . I’m sure they are right around the corner. It’s way to quiet .

All hope was lost years ago for a layoff/severance package. Thing of the past.

Layoffs? Uum-no. Those that have hoped endlessly for layoffs are gonna have to retire here and suffer like everyone else.

I have yet to understand why so many people say its so miserable here. If you don't like it go work somewhere else where you'll actually be required to do just that - WORK- for a living. Here you make a six figure salary for a job where you only have to see your boss once a month and where you make your own schedule, get a car, benefits, and get the freedom from not being in a cubicle all day. Yeah gosh, sounds TERRIBLE. *eye roll*

ps. Enterprise is always hiring....go work there where they "give you the tools to be your own boss"

Santa just got rid of half of his elves and his wife has been realigned. Mrs Clause will now be sleeping in the reindeer barn, and will be a fluffer for the movies they are making!

I strongly suspect that one of the two Resp PCP clusters, probably ours with diabetes, is toast by September 15th. My DM is very elusive on the subject. Anyone else getting bad impressions?

My partner who has Farxiga and Symbicort is useless . He gets paid more and sells nothing . Haven’t heard that , but I do think my manager is trying to push people out.
