looking to get some info on Cordis. Recruiter called about a Senior TM position open. Territory I guess has 2 clinical reps the one open TM spot and an RM. Base $70k, $172k to plan and a 4 month guarantee. Heard the products were decent from a competitive rep at another company. Is this a decent gig?

Currently make between 130-150k with a legit work life balance. Roller coaster though being capital role.

Products are all old tech sold on price. Job is moved to focus a lot on the doc doing peripheral cases in his office. Balance is good. Pay is good

i too have been contacted about an opening. Was told 200 at plan. I’m currently doing 170-190 but getting burned out in ortho... with some hustle is 220+ doable? I like the market space which is why I’d consider a jump if this is a good gig with a good culture... thanks!

If you're in ortho, you will come to Cardinal and think it's a joke. Stay where you are at. This is the most unorganized company I have ever worked for. They can't even Bill some of my new business that I brought on, and that's not the only deal I have lost because of the internal dumpster fire that is cardinal corporate.

    Previous post is painfully true....

Until Cardinal gets past the opioid distribution scandal they helped create (and this will be a long process with mounting lawsuits and fines that keep coming), best to stay away. They are also still trying to integrate a number of questionable acquisitions (Medtronic, Cordis, ITI, Access Closure) during the last couple of years orchestrated by a leadership team infested with egomaniacal dimwits. These morons in corporate need to be removed (though the current CEO, a dunce, will be gone in a few days). Don Casey is another "Rock Star" who should never have been hired (a J&J reject who brought Cordis to the Cardinal family--still a mystery why) and rumors are he's next in line for a pink slip. Yes, best to stay away for now until the multiple dumpster fires are under control and the remaining corporate sycophants are canned.

Cardinal is a joke! Interviewed with a manager and he was a total dumb ass. Maybe thats the norm in peripheral vascular. To make matters worse, one of his TM’s I spoke with was no smarter. If you learn from a dumbass you must be a dumbass!

Evaluate the the people you interview with and dont be afraid to pass. The pay peanuts compared to other solid device offerings.

Remember, cardinal is not a device recognizable figure and will not be. They buy old garbage from companies loke Medtronic. There is a reason top teared companies sell their garbage!

Stick to gloves and meds cardinal thats were you belong.

Good to read what US folks think about CAH. I joined Cordis loooong time ago and today still kicking for EMEA. I'm surprised FDA approval for Incraft (low profile EVAR) is not mentioned here. NOT OLD TECH but great device ...
