Depends on you area and market penetration. Implants have become commodity products. MDT is way ahead on delivery of implants, with Nav, Robotics, contracting leverage with multiple divisions. Nuva has great products, but not in a position like MDT for future growth in a dynamic healthcare environment. Also, Nuva has lost a number of reps as of late. Culture is not ideal from what I heard.

Discouraging to know that Nuva has better products. Why can’t we develop and launch more and better products? More visionary and better r&d leadership at Nuva?

Your reply got stuck in the other quote. I re-posted because I'm interested in the responses.

Nuvasive doesn’t really have better products and it won’t be long before the transpsoas XLIF approach is abandoned by most. Don’t be surprised to see Nuva come out with an antepsoas option soon though it will pain them to do so.
Overall, ASR positions for both would be much the same but Nuva is much more micromanaged and their reps seem to be more stressed out. MSB reps are stressed out from difficulty getting product.

Getting products to support all the NUVA business we're converting is a challenge...

Are you converting because of the major x?
