Considering taking a position in this division. What are the working conditions like? Micromanagement abundant? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As with most jobs in this industry, it hinges on manager.

Why do you say this? This is one of the best positions I've ever had. Eliquis is a great product. My only complaint might be about 1 of the Pfizer reps I work with. Real tool.

Here in West Virginia we like a lot of positions, but some of them hurt my sister’s back.....

CV division is essentially a primary care division- very activity and metrics oriented and reps are shallow with no real CV clinical expertise. And I'm a rep in this division so just keepin' it real. We like to think of ourselves as "specialists" but unfortunately we are in no way viewed as such by our customers as this has become another commodity market.

Very true. Unlike Xarelto reps which came from Sanofi with experience in cardiology drugs like Multaq, Lovenox and Plavix....

Stay away. Awful division. Metrics are ridiculous. Great product. Terrible
Bonus at plan. Wants the work
    Of 2
Or 3 reps. Pays for one

No truer words. There is no room for finding ways to enhance value. Run more TV commercials. Run them days and night in all media. And tell us how you justify the actual drug price that is part your empty "profession". You can ONLY profess the Package INSERT IF your ethical. Insert that holy rollers with your backs to the middle.

Most of us were Specialty Plavix reps

Well, the word “specialty” is misleading as Plavix was promoted to primary care as well. Not really specialty reps... more like primary care.
