I definitely agree santa fe springs DC is a joke they are the worst supervisor ever night shift and day maintenance wowo a*** *****z lol talk about lazy ass good for nothing but kissing ass and facilities manager m*** v** h**** talk about puppet to D.O And ASSISTANT D.O supervisors monica dave mark wowowowowowo corruption at its beat todd k. Needs a revaluation on its staff i completely agree with the last blog and HR lol wowo talk about company men herband marrisa lol worst HR ever

 

McKesson is truly one of those companies which will suck the life out of you and cause real damage to your well being. We had one manager at the Everett DC who was outstanding. He was an exception in the world of Big Pharma. Since he left, the Management Clown Car rolls up every few months and unloads another immature misfit to make everyone's life a day in Hell. McKesson sucks big time.

McKesson sucks! Sadly I've had a business relationship with them for 11 yrs and consistently been disappointed with the whole company (support, mgmt., & sales). I was recently informed that they couldn't afford to correct a $3000 mistake made on their end. How can a Fortune 500 company not afford $3000 to fix their own mistake???

I work for McK Pharma in leadership. I am scouting a new job as we speak, even with a pay cut, I will be much happier working in a safe office environment with respectable coworkers. I must say, I did research McKesson before accepting this position. I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into. I regret working here. It really saddens me that a company with this much potential and this much revenue, is in the standing that it is.

I can tell you for certain:
-McKesson Outsources most of their clerical duties to India and Mexico.
-They use antiquated computer systems and office furniture.
-Most of their buildings are filthy, unsafe and violate many codes
-Despite distribution centers containing large quantities of controlled substances, there is minimal security at distribution centers. They are too cheap to hire security guards, all DC's have NO security.
-Management and operations are racist and show favoritism. They have the "Good ole' Boy" attitudes
-The Sales VP in my office keeps liquor in his desk drawer and stumbles around the building drunk. Comes to work on his PTO days so he can drink and sleep on the couch in his office. And don't worry, he attends all of the sales meetings at the Ritz Carlton in Hawaii, Miami, California, Etc. Eating and Drinking on McKesson's dime.
-Top SALES President brags in company meetings how he drinks with Willy Nelson in first class on airplanes and "Smokes" with him. Seriously? Then proceeds to brag about stealing red wine from coach passengers.
-Bonus checks are no longer existent for credit collection employees
-HR personnel lie and manipulate
-HR shows extreme bias when selecting candidates and interviewing
-Turnover is HIGH
-Employee Morale is LOW
-Many laws are broken daily in regard to DEA rules and regulations
-Warehouse employees work long hours, unexpected overtime and early starts because operations cannot accurately forecast or manager customer orders. Again, machines and computer software are outdated here.
-Many employees have a company car and credit card that should not. Waste McKesson resources. $300 Bob Evans meals for their extended family are written off as "Corporate Lunch"
-Credit dept is a joke
-Payables are handled by India
-IT is in Mexico, they do not speak English and do not care about system issues
-Corporate office in San Fran and Texas contain a bunch of 20 year old execs that care more about parties and having alcohol at company sponsored events than helping the customer Avocado BLT's at lunch with a nice red wine, worry about the customer later.
-Customers cannot get copies of invoices, POD's etc because the CONNECT system is majorly flawed.
-Good luck getting through to Service First customer service! They will just pass your call from one department to another.


***MY ADVICE: Stay away from McKesson if you are job searching. If you want to secure a long-term, actual career with good benefits and professional coworkers in a safe working environment, look elsewhere. I did my research and did not uncover any of the issues I saw on my first day on the job. I wish someone would have warned me.
McKesson has a "Social Media" expert who browses jobboards and websites such as Glassdoor in attempt to delete truthful postings and hide the truth.

I’ve worked for MCKESSON for over 20 years, we just found out our DC will be shut down in 14 months because they are building a new state of the art NON UNION DC south of Seattle.

The ONLY good thing about this company were the union benefits.

Would not and will not work for this company if we were not union.

John Hammergren CEO and Chairman and his executives are all crooks and criminals.

The company just got fined 150 Million dollars from the feds and they gave themselves all raises and bonuses.

A lot of really good folks lost their jobs today because of corporate greed.

Stay away from this company at all costs.

 

Mckesson’s C2 distribution center is a goddamn joke. There is probably not a group of employees that hate their job more than these guys. I get it McKesson was sited in national news and various investigations about their contribution to the opioid epidemic, but to not pick handwriting on a 222 order form and then cancel the entire form because of one character in question is not the response I think the DEA was looking for. This company has a culture of ineptitude and now they are using DEA scrutiny of their company policies to refuse order fulfillment because a 1 looks like a capital I. Ridiculous.
