Yes, I have that too, first-hand bc they reached out to discuss the opportunity, though I’m not sure we’re talking about the same person. Had to be a little cautious bc we know the same people, but the message got through. Not so much bc of what I said, but bc of what I didn’t say.

At least they were smart enough to figure that out.

Going to be a very difficult recruiting process. There are two characteristics of a NSD for Sun candidate, they have to have at least one of the below:

    - are long term unemployed
    - have full trust of and confidence in TG

That said, there are definitely people that fall into the first category. The second category ? Man, I’d really struggle to see anyone who currently has any kind of a job to taking the leap.

This vacancy is going to force Sun into a new structure. Much like combining roles that we’ve already seen, perhaps we’ll see Fran and Seema divide up the country, or the product categories. So they get either a national scope with Tildra plus either acne or PDT or, one of them takes Tildra and the other takes acne + PDT.

After a long NSD vacancy, Sun will be forced into this and will position it internally as a great strategic decision.

Meanwhile, even with a VP of sales, we continue to meander aimlessly without any real strategy or direction. Gosh, even Fabs was better than this.

No one will take the job.
It’ll be open a long time.

    Consider this:
BU moves out of the role 9 months after TG comes in. But there’s no immediate backfill.
    1. How could it take 9 months to make that decision
    2. How could you leave it open

    Perfect example of two things:
    - no strategy for us
    - no ability to make meaningful, timely decisions. This clearly points to BU being the short term sacrificial lamb to buy TG a few more months ‘see Abhay, I really am doing something’

Abhay has to be scratching his head, saying ‘WTF did I do’ ?

A restructuring will occur since they spent tons on Tildra and have nothing for them to do. Also since PDT is about to lose a lot of business once levulan goes generic in October it would make sense to let Seema and the King take over all derm and let the Goof ball Groff go or give him an office job doing something else. He is worthlessness anyway. Just my opinion.

    This place is a waste.
I’m just riding it due to personal reasons till next year, and I really want it to succeed, but wow, it’s just rudderless.

Same thing is happening for other vacant roles in the home office. A few dregs have been seen in the building but in the time between their interview and offer, they’re getting very cold feet and rejecting working for ‘our leader’.

Ok, so we’re a month into another leadership vacuum, so, no takers for the NSD job, huh ? Not surprised.

    Another f-up of yours.

After nine months you pull the trigger on the guy (now that’s real leadership ?), and IF you had someone in the wings, well, looks like they dumped you by the side of the road.

Unbelievable, you can’t fill the job - no one trusts you or Sun.

Only a total loser who is unemployed would take the NSD job at Sun. Does Groff have a brother? hahahahaha

I guess we have to wait until the POA to meet the new guy. No formal announcement yet. I hope he has dermatology experience.

You wish. He has several years of NSD but in OPIODS and ORTHOPEDICS. Good luck teaching him about coverage. Oh wait that’s not your problem. It’s you aren’t selling clinically. Good luck guys!

    Pitiful. Sun cannot attract anyone.
Was it that bad that BU
had to be moved out and the position goes empty for 4 months so far?
    What are they thinking ?

"HE" ...go figure these mysoginists would not hire a woman to handle the salesforce. Do you all realize you work for a company that endorses sharia law? They hate women and in their culture women are 2nd class citizens. This company is going nowhere and if you are a woman you are not valued. #metoo

Yea, like someone without Derm experience can’t lead. The Derm market is a revolving door from company to company. It’s like a cult that somehow think only they know how to sell lotions!

well when you have the old toad Janet sharp running your managed care relationships what more can you ask for.

All that’s left at Sun are the misfit toys that NO one would hire.

I’ll be respectful to a degree and not name names, and I’m being quite objective here, but look at who are in leadership roles. Sales, Market Access, Pricing ...

    Seriously, it’s just scary.
