How anyone could stay at such a sleazy company for 20 years is so far beyond me, I can't even state how sad that is. It took me only 2 years to figure out that Purdue, their management, the Sacklers, and everyone and everything associated with the promotion of Oxy was the lowest of the low. Guess money speaks louder than ethics or morals!!

Before someone says I was never employed there, does "double D" ring a bell??

You wouldn't qualify for a Janitors position. Oh wait my bad, you WERE a janitor.

Evidently, you weren't at Purdue back in Oxy big numbers!! Otherwise you would know DD.

Wow, reading the stories on this thread is amazing. It’s like reading a great book and you can’t put it down. Hollywood could make lots of $$$ if they produced a movie based upon the operation and marketing of Purdue. Wow, just wow.

I was at Purdue, HO for over 15 years. Went through the "higher earning" national meeting, I remember reps going to Toppers with 2 docs writing, I remember creating entire districts out of a few Pill mill counties, regions on not more than that

Yes, that Berzerker RG sent that message, what a duplicitous jackass.

I use to love watching him boil over when he would hear CP stories about his "ethics" or JK in training (aka "the Joker" because of that perpetual wide eyed grin on her face. What happened to her? Bad cosmetic surgery?

Well said! I worked there five lousy years also and your description is an exact mirror of my experience. Thank you!

The individuals who continued to promote Oxy (and receive HUGE bonus checks) were completely immoral. I can agree with 1 of the above poster's who said there was some definite brainwashing going on, but come on. At some point, you have to think for yourself and dig your head out of the sand. Pretending as though thousands (prob tens of thousands) of people weren't dying left and right is not a good enough excuse. Many who were abusers, but there's a portion who started their Oxy roller coaster ride legitimately. They didn't deserve to die and their families didn't deserve to lose them FOREVER just so that the Sacklers and the immoral reps could line their pockets with tons of cash. Now, the situation created by Purdue in America has devastated the legitimate patients twice. Docs are scared of losing their license, to the point that I recently had surgery and was given Tylenol for post-op pain. It's reached the point that even for in patient hospitalized patients, some docs won't prescribe even an iv post up.

To those of you who made so much $$ off Oxy sales, you better hope you never need surgery or develop legitimate chronic pain. Wait, that's right, Karma is a b itch and at some point, you or a family member will truly require pain relief. Wait for the Tylenol to be dispensed.

I wish I had never heard the name Purdue Pharma.
