    If you’re blindsided by this, it’s one of two things. 1- you’re new to contract 2- you’re new to pharma. This should be a surprise to no one.

    101 of contract, you can be downsized at any time. Doesn’t matter if they extended another five years, you really have no clue.

    And the saga of contract sales continues! As a DM on the PDI/Novartis contract back in 2003 many were let go but some were kept for the Novartis "N4" sales force. It's the luck of the draw and just being at the right place at the right time. There NEVER has been any type of job security in contract sales . . . . . and the saga continues to this day!

    This is so true. It seems like that should have been a Friday afternoon call doesn't it? Any ideas on what the inspirational line will be from management to keep us giving 110% and saving lives right up until they push us out the door? It should be a comical display.
