I’m one of the ppl who told every1 the 980 was a shitshow at start of the thread. Against all advice to the contrary, we were forced to cut corners so Dawn B, Jim W, Pete W got their bonuses. I wouldn’t use the 980 on my dog. Worldwide Class 1 recalls, commercial holds, ongoing software issues, key staff departures. You think new features will help a platform fatally flawed since it was brought to market? Btw you’ll be waiting a long time for those features.

Still in Carlsbad trying to do the right thing and fix the 980. It’s a bastardized product that relied heavily on the 840 which had more majors probs than the field ever knew about. I feel guilty we let Pete & Jim & Dawn push it out too soon. Unfortunately MDT doesn’t want to go back to the drawing board yet, so problems and bugs will keep popping up causing recalls & holds & field actions.
