News Flash..............Nothing will be done about your low Commission. LCA treats Sales like whores. Get out make twice as much and never look back. Or just stay and accept whatever they decide to give you. Commish is never directly tied to your efforts. This will never change.

I sell for a regional lab and my commission check was $11,000 in July.

Of course, I actually have to sell and convert accounts to make that. Took 3 accounts from LabCorp last month alone.

I sell for a regional in NYC.
    Approx 1,200 reqs per day
    Approx 40K July commission .
We do not have all the insurances, but are the primary in most offices. Quest is secondary.

Are you serious? My reps that make $40K per month bring in only about 100 specialty reqs per day. You would be king of the world in my company!

i agree with you but the poor bastards at LCA don’t understand this kind of cash. They are all too stupid as they pull up their monthly report and just hope the finance department decided to pay them.

Everyone at LabCorp opens the reports at the end of the month and cross their fingers! It’s not just the reps.

I left LCA this year (greatest decision ever) for reasons lie this. NSA will just keep fucking with your pay. Remember managers are paid on ACCESSIONS (including cap), you are paid on REVENUE- excluding cap
They’re gonna keep going after capitated deals that only benefit them. They don’t give a shit about an oncology patient sitting there waiting for chemo but can’t even start bc LCA has their CBC stuck in “secondary review” bc it’s their SOP
And for their reps- they’ll suddenly go in and change the PPA on past accessions if they’re at risk of losing a plan and suddenly your commission disappears. Happened twice in 2 years.
LCA is the most fucked up lab, and I highly recommend that you look for something else out there that won’t make you feel like you sold your soul to the devil
