The announcement finally came that pulmonary is being dissolved. While this has been something we've all been worried about, I can say (for myself) that I believed RH's word that it was a viable space. In hindsight, I suppose when the CEO at our national meeting admits he "knows nothing about pulmonary," the writing was on the wall. Good luck to everyone!

I agree, it was several years we all heard "we have more coming" with nothing. My question is, what's going to happen with BT? Is it too going to dissolve?

BT should have never been bought. Complete waste of money with no reimbursement. Anyone know whats going to happen to CN?

Any word on what will happen to current Pulmonary Reps?

Reimbursement was actually good in the northeast and the only FRM that knew what they were doing got us coverage with a number of plans and then left the company for bigger and better things. BF is a clown and hasn’t figured out how to get coverage. Simply a ‘yes man’ going along with the status quo.

Let us discuss the "clowns" of this group. First on the list - RH!!! How does a complete and utter FAILURE continue to get a "hall pass" to continue to explore "new business?" C'mon Boston... Step it up.

RH was the wrong person to lead the charge. Selling pulmonary when you are going up against major referral issues from the allergy community takes a strategist, not a former order taker, which is what most of Endo is. No offense - but this is reality. Great tactics but lack of vision and unconventional thinking / innovation.

True. I heard recently that RH's new role is a 6 month "warn period" to find a new employer. He has numerous failures while at BSC, the pulmonary idea being the worst, not to mention an HR file a mile long.

RH was a nightmare and outwardly favored young females including DW he promoted who was immature and over her head on day 1 as a Marketing Manager! Its best this division folded as they were an embarassment to BSC!

There's been huge turnover on the Pulmonary sales team. Reps will leave to make more elsewhere. And as one previous poster pointed out, there was not much coverage progress outside of the northeast. TB got it done, it is too bad he left. Now people like TV have new roles 'airway endoscopy' makes you wonder if it is really going away or just a new spin on a bad concept. Will be telling what BSX does with their Pulmonx investment. Same team over there that brought BT to Boston Sci.

is still this division in tact? What is going on with BS buying BTG? Where will they bring those products into what divisions?

Nope! The pulmonary “division” (never such a thing) was a huge wash. RH blew that miserably! Karma is real.

FDA bans Lung BBQ device? Are you referring to Alair for BT? Haven’t seen anything on that; still very much PMA approved. Explain, please.
