Roommates at meetings

Sanofi is a cheap ass mother fucking company to force us to share a room.
I hate that shit. I’ve worked for 4 other pharma companies and never had to do this. Fuck you Sanofi, I will not do it again.
The gay basted I was with took a blow dryer out of the shower and aired off his nut sack. Fuck this shit.

I’m with ya dude. I’ve worked for other companies and never once have I had a roommate. Go to your Dr and get an excuse. Tell him to make up some weird disease that you have. This is a legit HR issue, legally they could get into some serious legal issues making people room with random co-workers.

You just dont get it. The cost of an extra hotel room is a pittance to the colossal $ wasted in so many ways at Sanofi. The point of the policy is not to save money but rather to demonstrate LOUDLY your true place and value in the organization.

 

What I don't get is I went ahead and paid for my own room ahead of time without faking a doctor's note nor was I asking for special treatment since I was footing the bill and they still tried to force me to room with someone & cancelled my room! The hotel must've run a list and noticed two people with the same name booked at the hotel or something (or Sanofi asked them to check) and they cancelled my room without even calling me! I don't know how that's even legal. I couldn't believe it. So after I got to the meeting I had to go back to the front desk later that afternoon after everyone was checked in & it didn't seem obvious I was a Sanofi employee to rebook my own room. SMH.... If I'M PAYING THE BILL then get off my back! Ridiculous.

 

Why were you in the bathroom with your roommate when he was taking a shower? Hmmmmmm.............

The same thing happened to me for the past two meetings. You'd think the fact it means enough for us to pay for our own rooms they'd leave us alone. I've never seen anything like it.
