The VA GM tells everyone the marketing director and VP are no longer with the company. The marketing director needed to go, but the VP was a scapegoat for the shabby leadership team. Maybe next time you get on a call, look in the mirror to see the real problem. You don’t know anything about what the division does or sell.

Here comes more ex covideon people to fill angio positions.

The company is a joke! Keep asking for $ back from your reps and nobody will ever want to work here!

    Stay away!!!!!

Hello - I had a phone interview today for a position in Surgical Oncology. What specifically has you recommending "running away" from AngioDynamics? Culture? Poor Leadership? Unachievable quotas/low pay? Can you be more specific? Is the competition taking over?

Thank you for your honest reply...

All of your concerns are accurate. The culture is horrendous, the new leadership fired most of the tenured top performers, the quotas are unattainable, the comp plan is extremely punitive, after your guarantee is over you will make very few commission dollars, ask how many territories are currently at plan (if they say more than 20% they are lying to you!). The hope for the future is FDA approvals and all they have is hope, zero effective strategy in place. Take your talents someplace where they will be valued and avoid this loser like the plague!

I worked for this company for 2 years as a PV TM, it felt like dying a slow death. No new products, mature product line and AngioVac centric. You spend most of your time completely focused, paranoid and worried about protecting your base of business because if you do end up loosing a piece you will absolutely make no money and will be screwed for the rest of the year. They objectively seem to restructure their compensation plan every year or two to diminish the amount of commissions that they have to pay out to the Territory Managers. The turnover and their culture were horrendous, the top end you will make is 165K. The management team at the NSM actually quoted to the PV reps as a threatening motivational tactic, "You should all have a healthy fear for your job"... Exceeding you're yearly quota was not thought of as an accomplishment but an expectation, so no recognition or awards were presented... LOL, they also forgot to ship out product recognition awards to the location for the NSM, so although they did mention my name and I was recognized it resulted in receiving a hand shake from the National Sales Director and them shipping my award to my home. The Rep of the Year was actually put on a PIP and ended up having a great year, building a territory with basically no AngioVac business to a very successful top third of the sales force. Upper Management then concluded that over-managing/micro-management is the key component to unlock potential and to get the most out of each and every representative in their territory.
Respectfully, I gave two weeks notice when leaving and they knowingly decided not to pay as well as didn't even let me know that they discontinued my families Medical insurance because I was going to the competition. I found out after the fact and needed to go on Cobra for the month. I hope I've been able to paint a clear picture regarding the direct machinations of this company.

Very well said. If you have any talent and brains at all don’t even return their calls. This place is garbage. That bumbling idiot clemmer is a prick and his fools. Bouchet Uhderofff and Chad Reed are Fools. There is no hope here. No career. Nothing.

Clemmer continues to be blissfully ignorant. Allowing the so-called ELT to run the business into the ground. Most of the ELT hate each other and talk shit about the others to their teams all the time. Disgraceful. I don’t think any of the teams actually like their boss. Due to the fact that the GMs just shit on their teams, never back anyone up or hold anyone accountable for anything!

Oh good a pod cast. Are you kidding me? Another shameless ass-kissing display by SC. How is hearing about Clemmers automotive likes and dislikes helpful to us in the field? Spoiler alert, we already knew all that. Hey SC how about spending a little more time getting us the shit we need to do our job and little less time kissing ass.

My friend just interviewed for a position at this place. During the process we came across this blog. I must say ….as hilarious as all the posts are this place sounds like a disaster. No wonder nobody wants to work there. Sounds horrific. My friend promptly turned down the position (which itself sounds horrendous) along with the comical salary they offered.
Seems like the “venous fly trap” of careers.
