SH is playing a long game, he knows that when Amgen shutters all R&D in TO that that event will create significant opportunity for new start-ups founded by senior R&D individuals who refuse to leave the area, mostly for familial reasons. He being a known figure is in an excellent position to capitalize.

JC of Enbrel wants to be part of this VC firm. It’s his dream.

Cindy would be happy since it keeps him in the LA area close to her parents.

JC believes Janis N. isn't as astute and smart as him. I bet he is looking to have meetings with Sean and Beth for a role there. He hates the US marketing even if fakes his love for it. It's a poor fit. His arrogance is better as a VC saying no to start-up companies than it is hating on overpaid sales reps.

If all you are is a “yes man” then you are overpaid corporate cheerleader.

I don’t see the value of Jay except that he has elite credentials that mean nothing

Sean can't play a long game. He can barely find his d**k with both hands, even with help from BS.

He has taken credit for all the great work by "Junkyard Joe" and his master RMP. Junkyard has a keen brown nose for drug discovery that sniffed out great programs at Amgen. He continues the great work at Merck.

Without Joe, Sean is just one of the Village people hanging out at the Westlake Village Biopartners. Stay tuned for the return of Junkyard Joe to the Village People.
