Internal applicants are being interviewed now. But approval will be sometime in 2019. Don't expect anything timely.

Are they not looking externally ? I heard external applicants were already getting screened for possible live interviews.

The writing on the wall is that there will be layoffs soon in rare. So many from rare are interviewing and priority is always given to internal applicants first.

I am external and had a phone screen. Face to Face either right before or right after Labor Day.

I received a call from a recruiter about this position. It sounds like it is more of a hospital based position dealing with Specialty Pharmacies and contracting. Anyone have more insight?

The problem with this job is that it will be impossible with completely unrealistic goals. Most will be lucky if they get 1 patient with this disease, unless you are in NYC or LA. But I know a job is a job for people.

I hear a lot of Novartis Oncology folks were there interviewing. I guess Vas is doing a good job messing up this division. His legacy from the Vaccine Division debacle lives on.

i received a call too. I always wonder why large companies don’t use these as promotion opportunities for internal candidates.

It's because internal candidates know it will be a clusterf**k . And for those candidates that are already doing the same job, just different diseases, know it would just be a lateral move. Those that applied internally, and interviewed were doing it to keep their jobs since layoffs in Rare are coming soon.

24 reps nationwide. 6 openings still available. aTTP is a rare disease. Data looks good. First Rx for this disease. Sanofi generally sucks though so?

Sanofi sucks big time. But this job could be good on a resume for the time being while kinks are worked out.

But this is rarest of the rare. More so than anything in the rare disease division. It will be tough to get patients. it will almost 100% be pure stinking luck. You just have to get docs in the know this TX is out there. Data looks great. I cant see how it wouldn't get approved.

    My 2 cents
