This re org is taking a ridiculous amount of time to play through

 

Please stop referring to this as a re-org, it is a take over of AS by GTS and the vendor Galaxe without either knowing the workings of AS . The net result is going to be a disaster as all indications to this point are not good. The love fest at the TS town halls is worse then watching a Sarah Sanders press conference. Nothing has been thought thru from an execution POV. Has anyone seen an application road-map, a system architect plan, swim lane diagrams of the new processes with roles / responsibility and KPI's to define success published anywhere? ... didn't think so, yet they are communicating lay-offs. I'm starting to feel that getting let go may be better option than being left behind under the inept leadership (there is no leadership)

 

Caron debrule did a big layoff last week, multiple directors and senior directors were cut including SDLC team

 

Yep, plus demotion but added responsibilities, how does that work? Oh and guess who got the work left behind by those let go ...... Galaxe.

 

Who was cut? They don't tell us anything these days.

 

Not putting peoples names on a public board for bashing. Talk to someone in the group if you need to know. Some of the folks are really good but were on the wrong side of the tracks acquisition wise.

 

Just taking so long to get to a definitive organization. Excruciating

 

Why was Dan Zelem and Mark Landy let go?

 

Who knows who is Galaxe and their ridiculous sale pitchers holding by tehir b***s? What do they have, pictures of some execs in pink latex holding dildos?
How is it possible we leave the fate of our IT in the hands of such imbeciles?

The biggest blow to IT was the hiring of Dan Zelem. He was / is a spineless bully who called people out without having the balls to look them in the eye. He got rid of top performers while shielding and promoting useless pieces of shit. I won’t name names but everyone knows exactly who I am referring to. The man should be black-balled from any future positions in IT.

 

Anyone know what the impacts were in AS through the ranks?

 

Nothing anounced yet at lower levels, just at director level a few seem to be moving on

 

The number of VP’s and Dorectors either retired or fired is enormous and it’s impact on RIF is over 200 plus

 

Anybody have more detail? The last townhall was so glamorous...

 

so sad the most capable IT VP was driven out by Zelem because he wanted to save jobs for his cronies. That VP was probably the best people leader I ever had, able to coach and mentor while also understanding the real business of IT. The irony of it all is now she is probably in the best place of everyone.

 

Honestly nobody really cares - there are many really good people at all levels who have lost their jobs - shed a tear for all of them. There are very few if any IT VPs

 

Just wondering when Blanchard will be writing her own org announcement, stating she will be taking on new opportunities... Why would they put a person of her caliber in charge of org change?

 

it is only a matter of time now that DZ is gone. Let’s face it with limited technical h/c available after all the changes WHY would anyone keep her in the IT org taking up one of those tech spots.
