The ADVAIR & embedded syneos Reps have started getting their calls.... At least they don’t have their layoff’s dragged out.

 

What calls? I thought they were all safe for now....

 

They are letting go of 120 Syneos reps whose last day will be Oct. 2. The rest will be Breo reps.

 

That’s because there are no Syneos reps that have been there 25-40 years that could opt for a retirement package. The voluntary severance pushed GSK calls back because they need to reassess the openings after people raised their hand.

 

They are all at home today waiting for their calls.... some obviously already got notice/ let go.

 

advair contract reps ALL gone....except for a few - special circumstances/ territory needs.

Most of those not placed are GSK embedded reps, that I have heard of. Seems Advair reps had priority, despite the slides stating”minimal customer disruption”.

 

Only 28 Syneos (original) Advair reps let go company wide, all else retained. Where open territories are the embedded reps will be placed.

Not true imbedded reps had priority and got placed first. But yes only 20 some Syneos Advair reps got let go.

 

Where did imbedded get placed? Because every imbedded rep I know did not!

 

Some got moved to breo & not embedded anymore as of Monday the 24th. The rest are on hold - they won’t know if they have a job or still embedded until GSK finalizes layoffs/ packages on their side.

 

I'm embedded and was placed on breo team.

 

In our area, it was Advair/asthma reps that got the majority of positions, embedded reps on hold or got Asthma positions

 

Only 1 "advair" rep in the district that overlaps with ours-luckily (and she's a literal joke, couple yrs experience, knocked up and just had a kid, couldn't sell if her life depended on it).
Although-don't see why it matters, unless you're all advair-rep-trolls looking for some sort of pathetic satisfaction,
when generic hits all bets are off...

The real question is... How will the market change??
