I think you have to be at least 50 y/o. Not sure how long you have to have worked at Amgen. Maybe 15 years?

in 2014 it was a mixture of age and years of service.
Mostly the math comes out your age, it's just a way to pre-emptively use age discrimination before the "RIF" portion.
They RIF the minimum number of younger folks to meet criteria for overall legal concerns.

Is anyone following that website where they would have to declare the reduction? Forgot the name of it. Also how much advanced notice do they have to give on that website 30/60/90 days?

It’s called WARN in California. Amgen posts there after announcing layoffs because the termination day they give is after they inform employees that they are getting laid off and they also pay severance for a few months after that so by law they don’t need to post on that website till after the fact

Smaller layoffs have begun at various sites, I saw at least 3 PMs sent packing. Some have been with the company for about 15 years.

BCBU managers have been handing out poor FCRs ever since the last manager's meeting. Word is Jan layoffs, probably starting with the contract reps

Most people would be happy to leave this toxic waste dump of a company.

The whole FCR thing is very true.

2019 layoffs in ATO. Doubt sales reps will be affected. Mostly moving R&D and operations out of ATO.

Speaking to a few contract reps I know, their FCRs haven't resembled the conversations they've had with the manager on the field ride.
