Has anyone recently got hired above 110?
Considering a position but shocked the max was this.
Is comp good? Is is it reasonable to ask for sign on bonus?

No hope. 110 max. IC is on lower end of industry average.

Not true. I was given what my former company was going to pay me out had I stayed with them. I had to provide proof and when I did, I got the bonus from CSL.

I will agree that pay is low for rare disease, and a lot of people come here to get experience, only to bolt for more lucrative jobs. That said, CSL is stable, which can't be said for all the players in this space....especially during a pandemic. They have a diverse business with a relatively small sales force. This thing may last a while but CSL is chugging along bc they have a lot of products people need no matter what, plus the plasma dollars. Other rare disease companies have already reduced headcount or are putting people on "part time" salaries. The bonuses are uncapped too, so if you go over quota you'll get commission. CSL should adopt a new sales force slogan: "We're not great but we'll be here forever."

So true. It's a mediocre place, but it could be worse. Is that all there is in this industry?

I did the same thing but that’s not technically a “signing bonus”. It’s just compensating you for what you were going to get anyways if you stayed at your last company.
Bottom line is they are cheap as hell here. Now blocking people from their earned and deserved promotions and claiming it is for budget reasons. Give me a break. While they brag at every meeting about their incredible profitability. Jerks.

I agree that pay here is Lee so is the benefits. Stability seems to be the reason people stay.. but if we are going to get serious about sales in face of competition then how the sales team is correct needs to be reassessed. In the past, completion was low so the amount of work was lower but now it's clear the sales team is needed to keep sales flowing and to get experienced reps higher pay is needed. At the least better benefits, we have crappy insurance for sure.. as a health company out health benefits should be at the top.

The medical needs to be revamped big time. It's pathetic for a company this size. This is a multi-billion dollar, multinational company and we have the medical coverage of a start up. That's ridiculous. The rest of it is decent, dental and other stuff.

agreed. KK’s tonsils are permanently stained white, and MAC has taken it in the pooper so many times she’s got chronic ass rot.

I haven’t had to use the benefits yet (just shy of a year here) so isn’t generic meds cheap if needed? I think the plan i picked copay to see primary doc is like $25. My wife works for Merck and that’s what copay is
