HAHAHAHHH. That’s hilarious. Perfect example of how big of losers are on this site. Someone just typed a comment with an Indian accent to pretend it was some Sun exec. Wow. Lost for words. Maybe leave pharma and go into acting? Maybe start writing novels? I mean with that much time on your hands you could probably master any trade of your choice!

luckily there are a lot of companies hiring in Ophthalmology right now, Eyevance, Kala, Dompe, EyePoint, Ocular Therapeutix soon. Hopefully people that get laid off or want out can land in a better place.

It could have been an imposter, but leeme tell ya - it’s exactly what the Indians say and it’s how they think about Americans. Lazy, stupid pawns. We’re just here to take your money. So we’ll just treat you like sh*t.

This is such a great opportunity that the East Director took a job as a DM at Kala. That should you tell you something, my friends. And as usual, he told people what a rewarding, long-term opportunity a Sun Opth career will offer. That should also tell you something.

Eyevance has a new drug licensing agreement. Look it up. Nexagon.. Salaries are very low. I dont know territory sizes.

I was told salary range was $70-85K, with car. Territories are huge. Not practical for growing business at all. Will struggle with managed care situation. 3 drugs: Zerviate for ocular itching due to allergic conjunctivitis, Nexagon for PED and Freshkote drops for the eyes. All me too's with little differentiation over industry leaders. Run by former Sun people and management positions by fresh out of college greenhorns. I give it a year and it implodes.

I blew off the day from my gig at Aerie and talk to the hiring manager. The pay was less than Aerie is paying, chances for success with a me too drug platform are less than Aerie's Glaucoma drugs and I saw no upside to have territories so ridiculously large that you will never be able to cover the territory. So youre right! I didnt make the cut cause I didnt return the call to meet again!

Hey Idiots, nexagon is not even approved . It’s in the R&D pipeline. So you won’t be promoting for a while... if it even gets approved.

How is Aerie? Did it live up to it's initial expectations? It was too late for me to apply for a position in my territory.

It seems if you want to stay in eye care sales, you have to expect some volatility with the smaller companies but at least you are not in big pharma. It's a crapshoot, really.

Not good. Unrealistic goals that apparently were set due to medical liason reconnaissance with Docs that thought their Rock inhibitor would be a huge success. Wrong! People are leaving in droves with the first opportunity for something more realistic.
