What does Exact Sciences need now more than anything? Sales. How do you succeed at sales? Building relationships with your prospective customers. Who has a sales force with established relationships with our prospective customers? Pfizer. A doctor may not see the sales rep. because he's from Exact Sciences selling Cologuard. A doctor WILL see the sales rep. he has a relationship with who happens to be selling Cologuard. IMO that's what this deal with Pfizer is all about and it will work. Relationships. Patience my friends. It's all good. One more thing, I believe Pfizer has one of the highest if not the highest rated sales forces in the industry. So there's that. Have a great weekend all!

Not true. My Area Manager said this is exciting times and upper management is fully committed to our careers and future here.
If Pfizer wanted Exact, they would have already taken them. This is obviously what it looks like - Pfizer needing something in-between product launches and Exact needing a big push in promotional effort without making the company too big. Rather than look for the bad in everything, why not just step back and recognize a good business deal when it's right in front of you. You should be happy - higher bonus checks on the way with your Pfizer buddies lending a hand.
That’s what I read into it also. Bigger quarterly bonuses and a great working relationship with my Pfizer counterparts. Can’t wait to hit the ground running md work with them!
Look at Pfizer's past HISTORY....they can't come with nothing new...so they buy...they will buy you by the end of 2019....book it!
If Pfizer buys us by the end of 2019, then it means that this co-promotion went incredibly well - high bonuses and high stock price. I'll cash out with my winnings and look to catch a job with Pfizer at that point. If you think this co-promotion is bad for any of us, then you're just plain silly. This is going to be awesome!
Some seriously delusional people on this thread. We will be doing all the work and the Pfizer reps will get the credit. All they know what to do is to pass their laptop over for a signature and drop samples. I can assure you, 6 months from now we will be under the gun as we have more to loose. Under the new suits-Beatings will continue until sales and activity increases, meanwhile Pfizer reps will still be slacking off.
Wrong numnuts...I worked for Parke-Davis who was the real inventor of LIPITOR...we launched in 1997 and in 2000 Pfizer bought us and screwed the Parke-Davis, Warner-Lambert employees....Wake UP
