I understand Lou was trying to make a joke but it was a bit distasteful. I work every day, I do my job and I know I make this company a nice nut. But to not even acknowledge how we may be feeling about our displaced coworkers just summized how disconnected this LT is from all of us. And for this reason, I’m out. I’ll do my due diligence to find the remaining biopharm companies that are still strong and go there. Knowing many ex- Novo reps who have moved on, I know they are still out there. I will give what I feel I owe this company until I leave and then my position, if not eliminated, can go to someone else!

I think the reason NNI does this every year is to prevent people from advancing within. Every time new maps are formulated, each new territory is considered a “new” position, even if the majority of the accounts you call on hasn’t changed at all, only the territory border. According to the NNI business rules, you have to had worked in your position for 12 mos before applying for anything else. If folks can’t apply for a higher pay grade, it’s cheaper to bring in inexperienced people at a starting pay grade that is lower than someone who’s been with the company for years & needs a different role.
Yes, Novo should be ashamed, but not all of the leaders required folks not displaced to go into the field. Some ACLs asked their teams to stay home.

Aren't the real leaders in Denmark always on vacation or something while we're being layed off?

I’ll treat novo like the leadership has treated us. They give us no respect, no ethics, no leadership, no loyalty!! Now I’m spending my time plotting my non-Novo future and am excited about it. I’m done busting my ass to grow my business because no-one really cares, and I don’t feel bad treating Novo like they treat so many of us. They expect me to give my all when they don’t give us their all. Comon. Thank you for the lesson Novo, Investing in my future while still getting paid is the new novo way and you made it this way.

Yes!!! there is HUGE freedom when you don't care any more and realize you'll probably be moving on so you start treating NN they way they treat you because you no longer care about a future there. Take days off, stop carrying samples, throw out all the useless marketing materials, don't kiss your nasty boss's ass, stop doing useless online exercises.
