A few months ago, I was contacted by someone about an opportunity at Optinose and at first, it sounded interesting. Unique technology. Drug/Device combo. But when I started to talking to people - both current employees and potential customers their perspectives became more clear.

Employees: Unfocused management, no clear strategy, giving away drug, rent-a-sales force, too busy smelling themselves and believe the product is AWESOME, leaders are in it for the short term-hope to get acquired bu their former JNJ friends
Customers: Product isn't worth the price, can't get it paid for (..and the co-pay program is impossible to execute), if it does work, it's going to take money out of my pocket by eliminating a surgical rev stream

Other than that, it sounded great. I passed

Earnings next month should be interesting. I'm guessing the stock will fall further, potentially making it an attractive acquisition target at a bargain basement price. I'm just not so sure it has much to offer anyone, even at a ridiculous fire sale price.

The stock fell below $ 10.00 today... wow...

Not surprising, leadership is marginal at best.

Any employee who posts on this forum will be dealt with severely.
We have access to any website you go to from your computer or devices.
Stop complaining and try to sell something for a change.

Yea. Because the continued change in strategy, shitty leadership and horrible marketing support is our fault. Right.

No worries about computers or devices being monitored at the Nose. That would require their IT chief to get his head out of his ass long enough to actually get anything accomplished. Not likely!

    Much bigger problems than IT.
We keep being told that managed care coverage is not the problem, sales is the problem.
Everyone I work with is looking at plan B.

The problem starts at the top, and works all the way down. The managed care issue was a known problem well before this even started. They knew it, and proceeded despite it. They compounded that issue by hiring the biggest group of idiots they could find, turning their heads and denying the obvious. They have all got their heads in the sand, pretending that this will fix itself. It won't, and they will eventually implode the entire company. Good riddance!!

Sadly-one of Peter's biggest strengths is communicating through cafepharma

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha....I only wish it was. Peter is oblivious, in and out of the office. The chatter about those ride alongs would tell you that. I'm not sure good ole Peter even knows that Cafe pharma exists!

Peter lost is again this morning, he did not get the numbers we needed last week.
He is doing more ride alongs to get to the bottom of it,.
Anyone less than 8 calls per day will be canned!

Peter doing ride alongs. 8 calls/day. That'll fix it.

    Fabs,

Twenty six days until the earnings release. That will be the biggest turkey of the month.
